Continuation of DFFM 3rd chapter

What? " I smiled to conceal my worries.

She removed a lengthy animal hide to expose something underneath. "My bags." I had left my three bags in the car, so I was ecstatic to find them. "How did this come to you?" I gave a shrug.

"You didn't lock the car, and one more..." She searched for something. "Yours," she said, gesturing toward my phone.

In an instant, I grabbed it and searched for a signal. "No network." I scowled in disappointment. The heavy rain stopped when the dark clouds stopped showering, but the sky stayed dark. "How did you find out about the cars?" I squinted.

"I understand," she politely responded.

I don't have time to look into Mercy's abilities right now.I simply want to change her mind about being a prisoner in this forest. "Mercy, you must persuade your mother to come out of the forest." I looked at her, concerned.

Her eyes were dazed and filled with grief. "I cannot do this." She spoke, forcing the word out through her teeth. "You have to understand that she has never been harsh with me. I was perplexed as to why she disliked seeing anything outside of this forest." She responded anxiously. "I will never disobey her instructions, and she is the best mother." She grumbled, sounding as if she were speaking to herself.

"I can take you with me, but I don't want to leave your mother alone in the forest, so I will wait until today. You need to change her mind. Please do it for our lives." I persisted, appearing anxious.

"Um." She nodded.

"I hope you can change her mind."

Mercy left the room, so I refreshed and dressed myself. My thoughts on Mercy and worries about her mother bothered me greatly. For about 17 years, she kept her daughter imprisoned in the heart's jail, bound by a powerful lock called affection. I need to find the key, but I'm not sure where to start.

I ate some fruits and checked my phone. It's 12:30 p.m. I had not seen Mercy in an hour, so I stumbled silently into her mother's room. Mercy appeared so fast that I barely had time to blink before opening the wooden door. She wiped her tears with her palms, but they welled up again and quietly trickled down her pale cheeks. "Did she hurt you?" My words came out in a hoarse whisper as I pushed her aside and attempted to open the door.

She grabbed my hand and pulled me away. We moved slowly through the snow, away from the wooden house. I refused to remove my hand from hers. I assumed she'd been sseverely hurt.

After a long, painful wait, I finally broke the silence. "What happened to you?" Please tell me something. I drew her closer to my chest.

She exhaled briefly before speaking so softly that I had to carefully observe her lip movements to catch her words. "I will never forget the wonderful times I spent with you in my life." She said it with a cheerful tone of voice.

"I don't need this alone, so don't try to comfort me." I gave a frown.

"Okay, allow me to show you something special we have." She took me to a creepy grotto. She pushed one side, allowing us to enter. I noticed an older-model black car, possibly from the 1990s. The car is neat and clean, and though it is older, it will outperform the more recent one. "Who's this?" I inquired suspiciously.

"This is our car. My father bought this for my mother. She used to spend many hours a day in this vehicle. I don't know anything about my father, but my mother always promised he'd come live with us someday." She spoke sadly.

"You are crazy. You could only find him outside.” I demanded in a harsh whisper.

"I know Kevin." She replied pleasantly, smiling down.

"Come with me; I'll help you find your father." I grasped her arms and whispered.

This time, however, the silence was much longer. She pulled her arms away from me and left the room. I followed her. The outside was brighter than the inside, where the car had been stored. "Forget me." She said it without looking directly at me.

"What—what did you say?" I stammered, furious. "It's impossible; I can't believe you said it. "Mercy, you don't understand." I clapped my hand against my forehead. "I'll explain everything. Come." I took her hand and pulled her along. My hands were extremely cold, but I didn't mind walking in the snow. I sat under a tree and motioned for Mercy to join me. The ground felt cold and uncomfortable.

"What are you doing?" Mercy inquired urgently, looking puzzled.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and opened the gallery. "Look, this is my father, William, and my mother, Karen. My friends are Jake, Rob, Amy, and Hannah. I don't go a day without my friends. I gave a gasp.

"You should see an important person. He's my brother, Joe. I'd like to share everything with him." I exclaimed angrily and frowned at her.

"Kevin," she smiled but did not meet my gaze.

"Don't smile at me. Check out these videos: my birthday celebration, my parents' wedding anniversary, Joe's hospital inauguration, and my graduation day." It took a few minutes to show all of the videos, but she watched calmly and smiled at me again. "You are missing out on the happiest moments of your life," I said, disgruntled.

"I understand, but I cannot speak against Mom. I am happy here with my mother, friends, and the most beautiful silence. This is my life, my world, and yours is just as beautiful." She replied softly with a small smile.

I looked at her with disgust. "So, you don't want me?" I asked.

"Yes, I don't want you, and you can't stay here anymore." She walked away so quickly from my fierce scowl that I had to rush to catch up with her.

It took me a second to realize that. "Mercy, Mercy, stop." I cringed, but she refused to listen to me. I grabbed her wrist.

She turned anxiously to face me, tears welling up on her beautiful cheeks. I grabbed her face and gently pressed one finger against her lips, silencing her. "I'm in love with you, Mercy. I can't live without you. If you do not want me, that is fine, but I cannot leave you here." My emotions erupted, and I kissed her. It is difficult for me to leave her.

She pressed her hands against my cheeks and grabbed my head. She then kissed my cheeks and hugged me, crying into my shoulder.

I know she loves me, but my love was causing her so much pain that I was afraid it would change her life forever. I let her go for a short time before kissing her again. She abruptly pushed me and walked away. I followed her with impatience. She came to a stop while walking away, and I noticed my car. "I will leave you exactly where I found you. "Just go." She whispered brokenly.

"No, Mercy, I cannot leave without you. My voice was strained and hard to understand.

"I will see you again, if God wills." She responded quietly.

She captured the aerial root and flew away. It happened so quickly that if I had blinked, I would have missed her deception. I couldn't go home without Mercy, and I had no idea how to get to her house, so I stayed. My hands were so cold that I could not breathe properly.

The sky was cloudy and dark, with a cold breeze blowing through it. I assumed it would rain tonight. I watched everything in silence before shifting my gaze to my car. The broken glass was scattered across the left-hand seat. I cleaned the glass and entered. I slowly remembered that I had left my bags at Mercy's house.

I, too, was perplexed and angry. I took out my phone and saw that it was 5 p.m. I leaned back, resting my head on the headrest. The hauling and groaning sounds of many animals terrified me. Every minute, the sounds of birds decreased while those of animals increased. I looked around, terrified, wondering what would happen if the bear appeared again. My heart started racing so fast that I was afraid it would shake my fingers.

I'm finally in the dark forest, and the cold evening air touches my face. A few hours have passed, and I would rather sleep in silence. As I closed my eyes and felt the cold breeze, I prayed that the night would be over soon.

When a heavy weight was placed on my head, I became visibly uncomfortable in my seat. It startled me, and I forced myself to open my eyes. The outside was too dark, so I had to see everything by moonlight. I was surprised to see Mercy's friend, an elephant.

I quickly opened the door and got down. Hello, Daniel. How are you? Did Mercy send you? My cheerful inquiry raised new expectations.

He shook his head to either side, indicating that I was mistaken.

I ducked my head. "Even though I knew her personality, I wished Mercy had directed you to me. It's okay. I gasped in disappointment. "How is she doing? Should I have to go without mercy?" He shook his head again. "Okay, thanks." I exclaimed enthusiastically, smiling broadly. Will you take me to see her? I stammered.

Fortunately, he sat down, and I climbed up while he walked slowly. I couldn't understand my feelings for Mercy. I've only known her for a day, but I can't imagine life without her. Why was I so crazy about her? Something drew me to her.

While looking for a girl in the forest, I lost contact with my family, friends, and, most importantly, my father's detective office. What was going on inside of me? She made me angry, and I should consider my feelings toward Mercy. This will be my final meeting with her. I'll never meet her again. I took an oath.

Dark Forest Fairy Mercy -3rd chapter

She quickly agreed. "Can we go meet my mother?" she asked.

I was terrified to travel on the elephant, but I had no choice because she was waiting for my response. “Of course.” I panicked.

She detected my fear in my eyes and voice. "He is my friend. "He will not harm you," she said abruptly.

I looked at her for a moment before slowly shaking my head. We quickly climbed up, and the elephant started walking. I was overjoyed as he approached Mercy's house. This was my first trip on an elephant, and I realized that every new experience is a rebirth.

“What do you think?" Her soft tone interrupted my thoughts.

"I'm happy. This will be an unforgettable day. I met you, got a new friend, and travelled over him. "A lot happened today, but..." I choked out.

"What's that?" She asked softly.

"I forgot everything just because I was with you." I patted my forehead.

"You want to find someone. "I'll help you." Her voice was friendly.

Her words brought me comfort. She has lived in the forest since she was a child. She is familiar with the entire place. I trust her.

The Terrific Night

“Look there," she said cheerfully.

When we got down, I noticed a cute little wooden house. Mercy beckoned, and the elephant moved on. I left my coat in the car, so it was difficult for me to stand in the cold air. Despite the fact that she was not wearing a top coat, she appeared casual. How can I ask her for thick clothing to cover me? I blinked. "Is this your residence?" I interrupted the silence. Is it possible for two women to remain in the dark forest? I grumbled. It seemed like I was speaking to myself.

"Yes. "Let us go in," she replied.

I silently followed her. I will not allow Mercy to live in this forest anymore. I swore to myself.

Before the silence startled me, I marveled at the house's many handmade wooden items. I looked around and turned to face Mercy, but she was not there. "Where are you, Mercy?" My voice quivered. I walked slowly because I was unfamiliar with the house. My hands were cold, my legs trembled, and I felt thirsty. As she did not respond, I prepared to call her again. "Mercy!" Suddenly, someone closed my eyes from behind. I recognized Mercy and attempted to take her hands, but she refused. She drags me along with her. "Where do we go?" I asked as I struggled to walk.

“This is the room I grew up in all these years.” There was a little excitement in her voice.

I eagerly pulled her hands to see the beauty of her room which was nicely decorated with some wooden items and varieties of fruits. Some birds and rabbits roamed freely throughout the room. I remembered my room for a short moment. I would not have considered keeping my room as perfect, but also I will not allow anyone to clear it.

My mother learned to make these crafts while she was in an orphanage. She taught, and I handled everything. "What do you think?" She asked me. Her eyes were bright with genuine interest now.

“Perfect, beautiful, just like you. You are extremely talented, but your abilities are locked in this forest. Why don't you come out?" I shrugged and frowned impatiently at her.

“Don't speak aloud. Mom is not here. I am not sure what will happen if she hears this.”I hated how scared she was.“Mother not only taught me English and the arts, but she also told me not to leave this forest." She stared out one of the windows.

“What are you doing here?" I asked her rightfully.

"What's in there? I don't feel like going out. I can get everything I need right here.” She responded in a grim tone.

The distant rumble of thunder chased the wind and moved closer. The forest has a higher decibel level. I hope the earth receives a heavy rain. The rabbits were startled by a tremendous thunderclap, and lightning flashes illuminated the room. Because of the strong wind, the animal skins covering the windows shifted to one side. The heavy rain was clearly visible. Mercy dashed to the window, tying the animal skins so they didn't swing. "Where's you, Mom? How could she possibly have come in this storm? I inquired, concerned.

This happens every year. She'll come in the morning. We have a lot of friends in this forest, so don't worry about her." She muttered.

The thunder roared, but I couldn't see the lightning through the thick animal screen. She drew a cot from a corner, positioned it in the center of the room, and covered it with soft skin. "You can sleep now." She smiled.

"Stay here." I said, directing her attention back to me.

She suppressed a smile. Everything appears absurd to me. I slept in my room on my bed until yesterday, but today I'll be sleeping in Mercy's room in the dark forest with rabbits and birds. “I'm going to sleep in my mom's room. Have a rest.” she replied.

A breeze blew through the window, making me shiver. I lay quietly as soon as she left the room. I wished I could sleep, but the storm's noise and roaring thunder had kept me awake despite my exhaustion from the journey. I thought of Mercy's mother. What will she do if I admit my feelings for Mercy? How will she respond? Several thoughts are racing through my head. I fidgeted. I am not sure when I slept.

I did not notice the beautiful dawn because the cold overwhelmed my briskness. "Kevin," Mercy's gentle voice interrupted my little dream. When I opened my dizzy eyes, I saw Mercy kneeling beside me, smiling enchantingly. I grabbed her hand, moved her palm to rest against my cheek, and fell asleep again.

Thunder roared again, waking me up. I grimaced at the constant rain and realized I needed some extra blankets. I opened my eyes to find Mercy beside me. She had been sitting in the same spot since I caught her hand. She observed my sleep calmly. I made her sit near me for over an hour. I forced myself to sit and looked into her eyes.I did not expect to see a forest girl blush. She was more than just a forest girl; she knew everything.

I struggled to find the perfect words to express my love. My hands touched her face and lifted up, to  see her shy smile. I found my fairy in this forest. She looks stunning when she smiles. I brushed her soft cheeks and pulled her closer to my face. When a rabbit jumped into our path, we both jerked back in different directions.

She laughed. "You're scared." She lifted the rabbit and set it down.

"I'm not." I responded immediately, grabbing her wrist and pulling her to my chest. She wriggled as we heard the horse's sound.

"Mom arrived." She exclaimed and dashed outside. I changed my attire to meet her mother. Her mother jumped from a brown horse, dressed in animal skins, and became soaked. She is lean and tall, with grey hair and a fair complexion, just like Mercy. “Are you okay?" Mercy embraced her cheerfully.

"Yes, my dear." She hugged her and blew her a kiss. I walked slowly toward them. She pushed Mercy back angrily when she saw me. "Who is he?" "Why did you bring him here?" She frowned, as if puzzled.

She was unable to raise her voice above a whisper. "Mother, I rescued him from a bear attack, and he was injured while defending himself." She struggled to explain.

"Send him back tomorrow morning." She raised her brow, stared at me for a few seconds, and then stomped into her room, crossing me in three long steps.I touched Mercy's shoulder, and she turned towards me. When she saw my face, her eyes blurred and tears streamed down her cheeks. My heart aches, and seeing her tears makes me angry. I hugged her. "Kevin, you need to go. I do not know when I will see you again."  She whispered, and her voice grew husky.

"I can't go without you. I hugged. "Mercy, you're mine." I growled, staring directly at her. She cried silently. I kissed the top of her head.

"I wanted to show you something." She pulled me into her room.

My son's first birthday

My son, Rudhvin Lakshan, is a gift from God that I asked for three years ago. He was my reward for having waited. He was born for me and is celebrating his first birthday today.
He requires all of your blessings and prayers to continue living happily in this world for another hundred years.
Bless my child.
I remember how happy I was when he was in my womb. I will never forget the first time he saw and touched me after he was born.
Only his laughter and happiness will bring me joy in the years to come.
Man has created thousands of pleasures in this world, but nothing beats a child's smile.
Happy birthday, my dear.

Monday, 25 May 2020

I will meet all of you again in ten days.

Thanks for your encouragement.

Within a minute, I noticed an elephant walking toward us. My thoughts wandered to how many more animals there were in this forest, but she drew me back and dashed toward the elephant.

I was iinitially scared to see her run towards the elephant, but then I realized she is familiar with all of the animals in the forest. I laughed at her childish behavior because she is my forest fairy. I assumed she understood how animals communicate.

She turned and motioned for me to approach her. I walked slowly, amazed by the elephant.

"My friend, Daniel." She spoke cheerfully.

I was determined not to share my fear with her. "I don't have as many friends as you." I couldn't tell where or which animal would appear next in that dense forest. I looked around and smiled at her.

I believe she recognized my fear by the way I looked and smiled. So she reached the point where I had started. "I remind you that there is no one in this forest except us." She looked at me as she softly kissed the elephant.

I need to ask her one question. I smiled, trying to be realistic.

She looked at what I was saying and asked, "What is it?" She inquired innocently.

"I can't say, but I'd like to tell you one thing." I looked at her directly and could tell she was interested in what I was about to say.

"You are so beautiful." It was difficult for me to conceal my love from her.

When I said that, she was stunned and looked at me. I abruptly grabbed her hands and stared into her eyes.I never imagined seeing an angel in my life, but now she is standing before me." She's mine. I realized I couldn't leave her alone in the forest.

I approached her to close the small gap between us, but she said nothing else. Her expression indicated that she liked me. So I bravely touched her cheeks and looked at her lips, anticipating a kiss.

When I heard the elephant's sound, my legs pushed me back in terror. My gaze wandered in search of an elephant.

She bowed her head and smiled warmly.

I was told in my mind that the bear appears to be fine when compared to her. "I mean, what I wanted to say was that I came here looking for someone." My words stumbled as I thought about being with her.

I must tell her that I cannot leave the forest without her, but I am not in the mood to do so right now because I came here for another reason.

I had completely forgotten why I had come here and about Mr Michael's family. I wondered if I could ask her for help, but she was about to send me out of the forest.

When she heard what I said, she turned to me. “There is no one here.” She finished and turned her gaze away from my side.

“How do you speak this language fluently?” I kept inquiring about her, forgetting what to ask.

“My mother just taught.” She replied casually.

“Are you here with your mother?” surprised. “I would like to meet your mother.” I persisted her.

For a few seconds we had only silence. She broke the silence after thinking serenely. “You haven’t told me anything about you yet and Why would you like to visit my mother?” She stood quietly and stared at me in amazement.

She smiled because she understood everything. "Let it go, but leave this forest immediately."

If you want to join me, I'm ready to leave the forest right now. "Do you want to live in this forest?" I complained inwardly.

"What?" she asked.

"You keep talking." I averted my gaze from her.

I will leave you near your car because "this forest is extremely dangerous." She waited for me while standing.

However, I began to ask her something to stop her when I realized she would not abandon me in this situation. "How long have you been here?" I asked in a deep, icy, and odd tone.

"Since my earliest years." She began to walk as she spoke, which saddened me.

I took two steps forward before grabbing her wrist and stopping her. "Would you please stop walking?" I took a deep breath to relax myself. "I can't go today, and I'm not going alone." My voice was filled with enthusiasm.

"What does it mean to be unable to travel alone?" "Will you accompany the bear, tiger, and lion?" She inquired curiously.

"The Bear?" I asked shockingly. "Why did you remember that?" When I think of the bear, I get terrified.

"You were prepared to fight the bear!" So, why do you feel afraid when you hear the name? She said mockingly, without looking into my eyes, and continued to walk.

I felt a cold, intense pain in my forehead. However, I opened my eyes to see her lovely face.

I forced myself to sit up and started admiring the beautiful forest fairy as a natural wonder. She saved my life, which I appreciated.

"May I ask for your name?" Until then, I had no reason to know anything about her.

"Mercy." She responded with a suave tone.

"That name suits you." I smiled and spoke while looking into her eyes.

"What are you doing here?" Her eyes narrowed, but they were stunning. "Many people have come to this forest hoping to explore and discover new things, but no one has seen me yet." She paused for a moment."I had to get into a situation to save you, so you are the only person who has seen me." When she finished speaking, she looked up to see how I felt.

"Whatever the situation?" I asked abruptly and without thinking about it.

"You'd be stuck with that bear if I hadn't rescued you." She spoke confidently, and her bravery was admirable.

"No, I was ready to fight the bear even if you didn't save." It is harder for me to maintain my dignity than the bear attack.
