ஜல்லிக்கட்டு நம் பாரம்பரியம், அதை அழிக்க விடமாட்டோம் என்று அறவழியில் உண்மையாக தன்னம்பிக்கையுடன் போராடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் நம் தமிழ் மக்களைக் கண்டு இந்த உலகமே வியக்கின்றது. யாரையும் காயப்படுத்தாமல் அமைதியாக போராடிக்கொண்டிருப்பவர்களை தவறான முறையில் விமர்சிப்பது பாவத்திற்குரிய ஒன்று.
தாயின் கருவறையில் இருக்கும் ஒரு குழந்தை எந்த வகை பாதுகாப்பை உணர்கின்றதோ அதே வித பாதுகாப்பைத்தான் போராட்டக்களத்தில் இருக்கும் நம் சகோதிரிகளும் உணர்கின்றார்கள். பெற்றோர்களின் ஆசிர்வாதத்துடனும், அனுமதியுடனும் போராடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் அவர்களுக்கு நாம் தலை வணங்க வேண்டும். ஒரு ஆண்மகன் தன் உயிருக்கும் மேலாக தன் கலாச்சாரத்தை நேசிக்கின்றான் என்பதையும், ஒரு பெண் தன் தாலிக்கு கொடுக்கும் மரியாதையை தன் தாய் மண்ணிற்கும் தருகிறாள் என்பதையும் இந்த போராட்டத்தின் மூலம் தெரிந்திருக்கும்.
இப்படி ஒரு ஒற்றுமையை இந்த உலகம் பார்த்ததில்லை என்பது மட்டுமே உண்மை. இந்த ஒற்றுமையைப் பார்த்து நம் தமிழ்த்தாயின் கண்களில் வழியும் ஆனந்தக் கண்ணீர் மழையாகி நம் தமிழ்நாட்டின் வறட்சியை போக்கும்.
